This privacy policy explains how Xata Technologies OPC ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://repostry.app (the "website") or join the waitlist for Repostry (the "app"). This policy was last updated on the date above and is provided as-is; it does not constitute legal advice.

Who we are

Repostry is a product of Xata Technologies OPC. You can reach us at privacy@repostry.app for any privacy question.

Information we collect

On the website, we may collect:

  • Waitlist information — when you click "Join the waitlist," you are redirected to an Airtable form hosted by Airtable. Airtable collects whatever fields that form asks for (typically an email address). We receive those submissions via Airtable. See Airtable's privacy policy for details.
  • Usage analytics — we use PostHog to understand which pages and sections of the site are useful. PostHog is configured in memory-persistence mode, which means it does not set persistent cookies or identifiers that survive a browser close. We collect pageviews, clicks, and basic device information (browser, OS, screen size, country-level location inferred from IP). We do not collect IP addresses in full.
  • Server logs — our host AWS Amplify keeps standard HTTP request logs (IP, user agent, request path, response status). These logs are retained per AWS's defaults.

How we use information

  • To tell you when Repostry launches, if you joined the waitlist.
  • To understand which parts of the site are helpful so we can make the site better.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, and spam.
  • To comply with law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Third-party services we use

  • Airtable — stores waitlist signups. Location: United States.
  • PostHog — product analytics. Location: United States.
  • AWS Amplify — website hosting and DNS. Location: United States.
  • Google Fonts — serves Plus Jakarta Sans and Manrope. Google may record your IP address when fonts are loaded.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we process it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email privacy@repostry.app to exercise any right.

We rely on the following legal bases: (a) consent — when you join the waitlist; (b) legitimate interests — for usage analytics that help us improve the product, balanced against your privacy expectations; (c) legal obligation — when law requires us to retain or share data.

If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share for targeted advertising). You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email privacy@repostry.app with the subject line "CCPA request" to exercise any right.

Data retention

Waitlist entries are kept until the waitlist is no longer needed (typically 12 months after public launch) or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Analytics events are retained by PostHog per their standard retention settings. Server logs are retained for 30 days by default.

International data transfers

The services we use are based in the United States. If you access the website from the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on our providers' Standard Contractual Clauses for those transfers where required.

Children's privacy

Repostry is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@repostry.app and we will delete it.

Security

We rely on industry-standard protections from AWS, Airtable, and PostHog to keep information secure. No online service can be 100% secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are material, we'll make a more prominent announcement.
